Christine began her career in the computer industry as a trainer and facilitator. She then advanced through a series of educational organisations such as TAFE, Southern Cross University and NextEd/Global University Alliance.

Between 2001-2005, Christine held the position of General Manager of the Australian and New Zealand operations of Raytheon Professional Services, a unit of Raytheon Company. In this role she led and managed The Holden College and Saab Academy which provided some 2000 training days per year to the network of General Motors Holden and Saab dealers in the region. Her responsibilities included logistics, administration, course development and delivery of technical, product, sales, management and executive leadership programs.

Christine then took on an assignment as General Manager, Client Service and Delivery, at ANZIIF, the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, to lead four major areas: Customer Service, Student Support, Assessment and Membership Services. With some 12,000 members and 8,000 students, ANZIIF is the largest regional insurance membership and education provider.

In 2008, Christine established Mindful Strategies with the aim to assist clients achieve a more balanced way of working and being. Mindful Strategies has two specific foci: helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others, thus increasing their ability to focus and to better manage and deal with reactions to fast-paced work and other demands, and helping organisations achieve higher levels of productivity and business sustainability, operational excellence and growth through developing personal and organisational leadership.

Throughout her professional career, Christine has led major initiatives in the learning, training and customer service areas. Amongst her responsibilities was also a large-scale e-learning project, where she managed all aspects of NextEd’s/Global University Alliance's on-line learning interface with global tertiary institutions.

Christine’s expertise and strength in customer focus, operational excellence and cross-cultural understanding are coupled with an in-depth understanding of all aspects of adult learning and its impact on organisational performance. Christine promotes a workplace learning culture that recognises innovation and learning as a major enabler of performance improvement.

A confident public speaker, Christine is also multi-lingual. In 1994, Christine was awarded the Southern Cross University Medal. She earned an Associate Diploma from the University of Commerce in Vienna, a Bachelors degree with First Class Honours in Asian Studies and Japanese and a PhD in adult learning, both from Southern Cross University, Lismore, Australia. Christine is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a qualified Six Sigma™ Specialist.

Christine lives in Melbourne. When she is not helping clients through Mindful Strategies, she is engaged in living life in a mindful way: family, reading, writing, music, walking, bicycling and yoga.

She practises meditation in the Soto Zen tradition as a student of Zen Master Ekai Korematsu Osho.
